“This is not news, Azerbaijan constantly ignores decisions”: Kiryakosyan

In a meeting of the National Assembly's Foreign Relations Committee, Armenia's representative on international legal issues, Yeghishe Kiryakosyan, addressed the ruling of the International Court of Justice regarding Azerbaijan.

It is noted that Azerbaijan is not complying with the court's decision, which mandates that the country must use all available means to ensure the unhindered movement of people, vehicles, and cargo through the Lachin corridor in both directions.

“Unfortunately, Azerbaijan ignores the decision. This is not new; Azerbaijan constantly ignores decisions. This ruling is clear. Our efforts should also focus on raising the issue in the UN Security Council, as that body has the authority to oversee the enforcement of court judgments,” said Kiryakosyan.

According to Kiryakosyan, the failure to implement such decisions leads to threats to international security and peace.
