Regional Leaders Are Wise, They Will Choose Dialogue, Says Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister
“The development of relations with neighbors is one of the priorities of Iran's foreign policy. In this policy, Armenia holds significant importance for Iran,” said Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani during a press briefing with journalists in Yerevan.
“Iran has a stable position regarding the establishment of lasting peace in the region. During our meetings, we emphasized that Iran has always been a reliable partner in ensuring peace and security,” noted the Iranian deputy foreign minister.
According to Bagheri, the countries of the region are the guarantors of peace, and the presence of foreign forces cannot ensure peace. “I assume that the leaders of the regional countries are so wise that they will choose the option of dialogue for resolving issues. Iran will utilize all its capabilities and potential to address problems through peaceful dialogue,” Bagheri added.
