EU Observers Silent on the Abduction of an Armenian Citizen.
According to the newspaper "Hraparak," it became known yesterday that Azerbaijani forces abducted Armenian Armed Forces contract serviceman Martik Gyulnajaryan, a 37-year-old resident of Khndzoresk, near the Black Lake area in Syunik Province. Gyulnajaryan is a father of three.
Notably, he was transporting food to soldiers on duty at the combat post when he was taken from the territory of the Republic of Armenia. It is significant that EU observers in Armenia have remained silent about the incident, despite Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statements that EU observers would be deployed along the entire border of Armenia and would monitor border incidents, noting who engages in provocative actions.
