The Human Rights Defender Candidate is a Close Friend of Anna Vardapetyan: Media
The National Assembly's Civil Contract faction has finally found a candidate for the Human Rights Defender of Armenia, reports ArmLur.
"The government’s candidate for the Human Rights Defender is Anahit Manasyan, a close friend of the Chief Prosecutor of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan. Today at 17:00, members of the Civil Contract faction will meet with the candidate for the Human Rights Defender, however, only a few deputies are aware of who the candidate is," the outlet writes.
The media outlet has reached out to the Office of the Chief Prosecutor of Armenia to verify the accuracy of this information regarding Manasyan as the candidate for Human Rights Defender, but they neither confirmed nor denied the reports.
