Who the Azerbaijani Weightlifters Coming to Armenia are

Azerbaijan has officially announced the participation of 5 athletes in the weightlifting European Championship to be held in Yerevan.

Earlier, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, Karen Giloyan, stated: “At this moment, Azerbaijan has confirmed its participation, but this is not final yet. The federations of the countries that submitted applications at the end of March need to make specific monetary transfers to the European Federation of the sport. In other words, Azerbaijan’s team participation will be confirmed only if they fulfill all the required steps.”
