“Since Moving to Artsakh, I am Continuously Inspired by the Women Living Here”: Ruben Vardanyan’s Congratulatory Message
The former state minister of the Republic of Artsakh, Ruben Vardanyan, has sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of International Women's Day, March 8.
“Women are a symbol of life. They give life and nurture it even in the most difficult situations. Within them lies an infinite strength and will that is often unnoticed. I am truly in awe of the perseverance, strength, boundless dedication, and exceptional principles of Armenian women. Today, in this complex situation we face, women stand alongside men, defending our homeland, life, and dignity.
Since moving to Artsakh, I have been endlessly inspired by the women living here with their strength of spirit, their will to withstand difficulties, and their faith in our victory. They have the courage to defend their rights and use all legitimate means for this purpose, appealing to international organizations, organizing protests against Azerbaijani aggression, and demonstrating their resolve to remain in Artsakh and fight until the end. They have done everything and continue to do so to ensure that their children receive an education even under inhumane conditions of blockade.
Dear women, it is truly admirable how you can be so strong, resilient, and combine that with exceptional charm and femininity. We really must do everything to ensure you have a safe, dignified, and happy life. Even in the most challenging moments, we draw the strength and energy to achieve this from you.
I pay my respects to the mothers, sisters, women, and daughters of our heroes who sacrificed their lives for the homeland. We are obligated to build a safe and secure country where women play the most active role in public life and in shaping our future.”
