Russian Defense Ministry Announces Resumption of Unimpeded Movement through Lachin Corridor
The Russian peacekeeping force continues to fulfill its assigned tasks in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Russian peacekeepers are conducting round-the-clock monitoring at 30 observation posts and overseeing the ceasefire regime. It is noted that the command of Russian peacekeepers continues negotiations with both Armenian and Azerbaijani sides regarding the resumption of unimpeded vehicular movement along the Stepanakert-Goris road.
A humanitarian convoy has been escorted along the Goris-Stepanakert route. Patrols have been carried out in the Martakert, Martuni, and Shushi regions, as well as along the Lachin corridor via four routes. To ensure the safety of Russian peacekeepers and to prevent possible incidents, ongoing cooperation is maintained with the general staffs of the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
