VIDEO: Kerobyan on Providing Humanitarian Aid to Turkey
Yes, I believe they should participate in assisting people affected by natural disasters, and in general, I think that Armenia should increasingly enhance its cooperation with all countries in the world, including in humanitarian terms. This was stated by the Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan in an interview with journalists, addressing the question of whether he finds it appropriate for Armenia to send aid to Turkey.
In response to a journalist's observation that there is also a humanitarian disaster in Artsakh, and that the Government is not taking practical steps, and now you all unanimously say humanitarian assistance, Kerobyan replied, “I share your view. We also have a humanitarian disaster in Nagorno-Karabakh, and the existence of a problem there does not mean that we should lose our humanity.”
