Personnel Changes in the Armed Forces General Staff: Details
Arakel Martikyan has been relieved of his duties as Deputy Chief of the Armed Forces General Staff. President Vahagn Khachaturyan has signed a decree regarding this matter.
It is noteworthy that Martikyan was appointed to this position one year ago, on January 10, 2022.
In a separate decree by the President of Armenia, Samvel Movsesyan has been appointed as the head of the intelligence department of the Armed Forces General Staff, serving as the Deputy Chief of the Armed Forces General Staff. It is important to mention that he previously held the position of Deputy Head of the Intelligence Department of the Armed Forces General Staff.
