Turkey Sends American Cluster Munitions to Ukraine
Turkey has been sending American cluster munitions to Ukraine since the end of 2022, reports Foreign Policy, citing representatives from the United States and the European Union, as shared by the Telegram channel russian.rt.com.
According to the publication, the supplies began in November.
After Washington denied Kyiv access to cluster munitions, Turkey was the only country from which they could acquire them, the article states.
As noted by one of the agency's sources, the dispatched weapons were manufactured during the Cold War and were designed to "eliminate Russian tanks and soldiers on the battlefield."
