UN Humanitarian Mission Came Under Shelling in Zaporizhzhia Region: Starukh
The UN mission delivering humanitarian aid to the Zaporizhzhia region has come under shelling during the "ceasefire regime," stated the head of the regional military administration, Alexander Starukh.
“It was anticipated that there would be no shelling. Unfortunately, the Russian side, which had promised not to fire, has been shelling even the United Nations humanitarian mission, which had brought humanitarian aid to Orekhov since this morning,” Starukh noted.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin had tasked Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu to establish a ceasefire along the entire front line in Ukraine on Christmas Day.
