A New $3 Billion Military Aid Package for Ukraine Announced
The White House has announced a new military aid package for Kyiv, as expected. The package includes $225 million for the long-term enhancement and modernization of the Ukrainian armed forces. An additional $682 million will be sent to American allies on NATO's eastern flank for the purchase of weapons. The total volume of military aid will amount to a record $3 billion.
This was stated by White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, who noted that the $3 billion in funding will be provided directly from Pentagon reserves.

- Additional quantity of HIMARS systems
- 50 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles with anti-tank missiles and shells
- 100 M113 armored personnel carriers
- 55 MRAP light armored vehicles
- 138 HMMWV armored vehicles
- 18 self-propelled howitzers
- 36 howitzers of 105 mm caliber
- 70,000 shells of 155 mm caliber
- 500 high-precision shells of 155 mm caliber
- 95,000 shells of 105 mm caliber
- Missiles for HIMARS
- 10,000 mines for mortars
- Sea Sparrow anti-aircraft missiles
- 4,000 aviation missiles
- About 2,000 anti-tank missiles (excluding those attached to Bradley launchers)
- Sniper rifles, mines, night vision devices, and more.
