VIDEO: Details of the Fire That Broke Out Near Lake Sev

A fire has broken out in the Goris region today. As reported, the fire originated in an area occupied by Azerbaijani armed forces.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations has informed Auroranews that there is no clear information regarding the causes of the fire. Hayk Kostanyan, the spokesperson for the Ministry, stated in an interview that the fire started in two directions; one self-extinguished, while the other continues to burn.

"Firefighters from the Ministry are operating in the nearby area. However, since this territory is under surveillance by the enemy, it is impossible to approach and conduct firefighting operations. Nonetheless, they are on duty to ensure that if the fire approaches the village, they can carry out fire suppression. The situation is under control on-site," he said.
