Zakharova Claims No Pressure Has Been Exerted; It Is Time for the Secretary of the Security Council to 'Heroically' Present Evidence Says Surenyants
Political analyst Suren Surenyants writes: “Zakharova asserts that there has been no pressure from Russia regarding Armenia's accession to a new union and providing a transit corridor. It is the right time for Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan to 'heroically' present evidence. If none exists, it is time to grab a piece of A4 paper and a pen and resign.”
Earlier, Armen Grigoryan, in one of his interviews, hinted that Russia is pressuring Armenia to provide a transit corridor to Azerbaijan. There are also discussions about pressure related to joining the emerging union between Russia and Belarus.
