Pailan Appeals to Erdogan Regarding the Lachin Corridor

Turkey's opposition Armenian MP, member of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Karo Pailan has addressed the issue of the Goris-Stepanakert highway, known as the Lachin Corridor.

He has called on Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to "take responsibility for stopping the blockade of Nagorno-Karabakh."

“Establishing peace and tranquility in the Caucasus, as well as preventing conflicts and tensions, is also in Turkey's interest. If we all take responsibility for eliminating the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh, we can return to a positive agenda both in the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process and in the Turkey-Armenia normalization process,” he stated.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan has been continuing to blockade the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia for 18 days now.
