The Situation at the Frontline is Now Severe: Zelensky
The situation at the frontline is now severe, with Russian troops throwing all their power into combating the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was the assessment made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky regarding the conditions on the battlefield.
“Bakhmut, Kreminna, and other areas in Donbas now require maximum strength and concentration. The situation there is severe and exhausting,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Zelensky noted that Russian forces continue active military operations against the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The Ukrainian president stated that Ukraine is preparing for a challenging year due to issues related to the country’s energy infrastructure.
Earlier, the Polish newspaper Niezaleny Dziennik Polityczny reported that Ukrainian soldiers are surrendering to the Russian army when such an opportunity arises.
