The Most Absurd Prediction I’ve Ever Heard: Elon Musk on Medvedev's Forecasts

One of the world's richest individuals, Elon Musk, has once again shown interest in the Russian segment of Twitter, which he acquired earlier this year, and commented on the "futuristic" predictions made by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, for the year 2023. Medvedev, whose rhetoric has become very harsh and crude during the war, started a series of predictions last night, including that oil will reach $150, gas will reach $5000 per cubic meter, the collapse of the European Union, and a civil war in the United States, among others. One of his other predictions is that Poland and Hungary will seize the western regions of "former Ukraine". Regarding Musk, Medvedev asserted that the American billionaire would win in the elections.

It is unclear whether the businessman appreciated this prediction, but he responded, calling Medvedev's forecast "epic." He then criticized the former president of Russia's assertions: "These are the most absurd predictions I have ever heard, demonstrating a shocking lack of awareness regarding the advancements in artificial intelligence and sustainable energy."
