How Can We Comfort Ourselves: Azerbaijani Politician on Stepanakert Demonstration
Azerbaijani opposition politician Ali Karimli commented on the large-scale rally that took place yesterday in Stepanakert, describing it as a demonstration of Russia's power against Azerbaijan led by Russian governor Ruben Vardanyan.
“During the previous large rally in Stepanakert, we consoled ourselves with the fact that most of the participants had been brought in from Armenia. But how can we comfort ourselves now? The road is now closed, and it is impossible to bring the protesters out from Armenia. Moreover, this rally in Khankendi took place at the call and under the leadership of Ruben Vardanyan, whom Russia has sent to Karabakh,” said Karimli.
The politician also accused Aliyev of failing in his policy towards Karabakh and blamed Russia for creating an 'active Armenian community' in Artsakh, led by Ruben Vardanyan, as reported by Baghramyan26.
