Biden Signs Record Defense Budget for 2023
U.S. President Joe Biden has signed the country’s defense budget for the 2023 fiscal year. The budget amounts to a record $853 billion for the United States. This was reported by Kp.ru, referencing the White House website.
“On Friday, December 23, the president signed the 2023 fiscal year defense budget,” states the White House website.
Earlier in December, the U.S. House of Representatives approved the 2023 defense budget, which totals $853 billion. The document particularly allocates funding for securing Ukraine’s safety, with at least $800 million earmarked, as well as initiatives to deter Russia in Europe, which will receive six billion dollars for this purpose.
