VIDEO: Avanesyan on the Possibility of Transferring Patients from Artsakh to Armenia via Air Ambulance
The Minister of Health, Anahit Avanesyan, addressed reporters regarding the suspension of planned surgeries in Artsakh and the shortage of medication in communities. She stated that it is impossible to transfer patients from Artsakh to Armenia via air ambulance.
“If it were possible, we would transfer patients through air ambulance; it is not possible,” said Avanesyan. “In those rural communities where there are issues and the healthcare system in Artsakh cannot meet their needs, we have provided all necessary medications and supplies to those areas in coordination with the regional healthcare system,” she added.
The Health Minister mentioned that they are in constant communication with the Acting Minister of Health of Artsakh.
