Zohrap Mnatsakanyan on Stepanakert-Baku Dialogue

The formation of a dialogue platform between Stepanakert and Baku is of significant importance, stated former Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrap Mnatsakanyan during a public broadcast. He emphasized, 'I feel the internal mobilization in Artsakh. It is imperative for everyone who is not in Artsakh right now. For the population of Artsakh, the status issue is an existential problem, apart from being a self-determination issue. The necessity of launching the concept of a separation for salvation, especially in the context of current developments, is crucial. The formation of a Stepanakert-Baku dialogue platform is important, and I consider it essential. The format of the platform is also of significant importance,' Mnatsakanyan added.

He pointed out that Artsakh and Azerbaijan are in unequal conditions, and given this, the existence of an international mechanism is critically important. 'The Republic of Armenia plays a significant role here. The primary objective now is to create the opportunity for the establishment of that platform,' he stated.
