Red Cross Representatives Visit Armenian Prisoners in Azerbaijan
Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) have visited Armenian prisoners held in Baku. The information was revealed to Sputnik Armenia by Zara Amatuni, head of ICRC delegation's communication programs.
"The latest visit took place in November," stated Amatuni. She emphasized the importance of the regular nature of these visits.
As in previous instances, during this visit, the prisoners were able to communicate with their relatives, pass messages, make phone calls, and conduct video calls. ICRC representatives also assessed the health condition of the prisoners and the conditions of their detention.
"We hope that these visits will continue in the future, following the established practice," noted Amatuni.
