Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has launched a fundraising campaign to acquire medications for Ukraine. The Guardian reports that the former Prime Minister made his appeal ahead of the upcoming Christmas holidays. During this period, numerous charitable events are held in the country featuring well-known political figures, as well as stars from sports and showbiz.
“Britons are known for their generosity and kindness, and these qualities shine through even in tough times, so I urge you to bring your hands and pockets this Christmas,” Johnson stated. He noted that the collected funds will be used to purchase medicines and medical equipment, which will be sent to Ukraine.
