Zelensky Supports Proposal to Set $30 Price Cap on Russian Oil
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has defended the idea of implementing a $30 price cap on Russian oil, according to Bloomberg. On Thursday, Politico reported that most EU countries supported the proposal to set a price cap on oil from the Russian Federation in the range of $65-$70 per barrel. According to experts interviewed by RIA Novosti, this is comparable to the average price of Urals over the last five years, plus a small premium. At the same time, Poland supports the $30 price cap.
