Germany Prohibits Poland from Supplying Patriot Systems to Ukraine
The Minister of Defense of Germany, Christine Lambrecht, has prohibited Poland from transferring Patriot air defense systems (SAM) to Ukraine, according to Reuters.
“These systems are part of NATO’s integrated air defense. This means that they are intended to be deployed only within NATO territory,” she stated.
She emphasized that the deployment of air defense systems in the territories of non-NATO countries should be discussed by all members of the organization.
