Papikyan and Shoigu Held a Private Conversation

The Minister of Defense of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, had a brief private conversation with the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation following the recent session of the Collective Security Council of the CSTO. This was reported by Suren Papikyan on his Facebook page.

He specifically wrote: “On November 23, the session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization was held in Yerevan, attended by the secretaries of the national security councils, ministers of foreign affairs and defense of the CSTO member states. Immediately after the meeting, I had a brief conversation with the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation. We exchanged thoughts on several issues of mutual interest as well as regarding defense cooperation.”
