Baku is Iran's Enemy: What Iranian Magazines Are Saying

"Hairtniqi Ughi" magazine is the most important publication for Azerbaijanis living in Iran, which is published independently in the country. In the latest issue of this magazine, all articles were directed against Ilham Aliyev's authoritarian regime. Included among them are titles such as "Baku is Not Azerbaijan" and "Baku is Iran's Enemy." This was reported by Iranian journalist Salar Seyf on his Twitter page, including a caricature of Ilham Aliyev featured on the magazine cover.

It is noteworthy that yesterday, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) to Azerbaijan, Seyid Abbas Mousavi, was summoned by the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

During the meeting, officials from Azerbaijan's FM expressed dissatisfaction regarding "Iran's anti-Azerbaijani propaganda, the slanderous campaign of the country's senior officials, and threatening rhetoric."
