Elon Musk Has Laid Off More Than Half of Twitter Employees
Entrepreneur and owner of the social media platform Twitter, Elon Musk, is set to lay off even more employees from the company's sales department. This was reported by Bloomberg.
According to the agency, the series of layoffs resumed on Sunday. Sources indicate that Musk is reducing the number of the company’s employees to balance the remaining staff.
One source confirmed that Twitter currently has about 2,750 employees. Prior to the change in ownership, the company had more than 7,000 employees.
On November 20, the Twitter social network restored former U.S. President Donald Trump's account. The number of subscribers to the former leader's account has surged dramatically.
