Shoigu Says NATO Actions Threaten Russia's Allies
NATO's troop buildup in the eastern flank poses a threat to the allies of the Russian Federation, primarily Belarus, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu stated on Wednesday during a joint board meeting of Russia and the Republic's military departments.
He noted that the escalation of confrontation with the West and the accumulation of a multinational NATO grouping in the eastern flank directly threaten not only Russia.
The Minister emphasized, “Our allies will also find themselves under attack, primarily the fraternal Republic of Belarus.”
