In the Last Month, I and Mr. Putin Have Spoken Five Times: Erdogan
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has revealed how many times he has spoken with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in the past month, as reported by Kp.ru.
"During the last month alone, we have spoken with Mr. Putin five times, the same goes for Mr. Zelensky. On the other hand, we have telephone diplomacy with the President of the United States," he stated.
Erdogan noted that he has been in close contact with global leaders for 20 years.
The last time Russian President Vladimir Putin had a phone conversation with Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan was on October 7, 2022. One of the topics discussed was the bilateral relations between Russia and Turkey and their future development.
Prior to that, on September 3, Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan again had a phone conversation. The Turkish leader emphasized Russia's constructive role in organizing the mission of the International Atomic Energy Agency at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.
