Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars Road Closure

The movement of all types of vehicles on the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars highway will be prohibited. This information was disseminated by the Georgian Department of Highways, as reported by Aliq Media.

“In order to carry out ongoing inspections of fire protection, safety, and monitoring systems in the Devdoraki tunnel located on the 123 km –135 km section of the internationally significant Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars highway, the movement of all types of vehicles will be prohibited on October 11, 2022, from 10:00 to 17:00.

During the closure of the road tunnel, traffic will be redirected to the entrance road of the interstate Devdoraki tunnel,” the statement said.
