Angela Merkel: 'Take Putin's Words Seriously'
Former German Chancellor Angela Merkel has called for taking the words of Russian President Vladimir Putin seriously. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
In her speech, Merkel addressed the current political agenda. She reminded that she has previously stated that the words of the Russian leader should be taken seriously, and she has once again emphasized the importance of this.
"Do not avoid taking the statements of the Russian president seriously. I believe this is not a sign of weakness, but a sign of political wisdom, which helps to maintain space for maneuver or, no less importantly, to even develop new strategies," Merkel said.
