National Assembly Starts Its Autumn Session Without Opposition Factions
The National Assembly convened today, September 12, for its fourth session of the eighth convocation. The agenda for the four-day sessions includes 45 items.
Included in the agenda is the election of two members of the Constitutional Court. The candidates are Seda Safaryan and Hovakim Hovakimyan. The discussion of these issues will take place during the first main session on Thursday.
The agenda also includes a discussion on the election of a member of the Television and Radio Commission (the candidate is Tigran Hakobyan), which will start after the discussion on the election of the Constitutional Court members.
It is noteworthy that the two opposition factions are not participating in the sessions.
