IAEA Director General Holds Consultations: What Program Will Be Implemented at Zaporizhzhia NPP

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, announced on the organization's Twitter page that consultations have begun regarding the establishment of a security zone around the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.

“Yesterday, a proposal was made to create an urgent nuclear and physical safety and security zone at the Zaporizhzhia NPP. The IAEA director is conducting consultations aimed at implementing this program,” the statement reads.

It is worth noting that earlier, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi stated that the IAEA is establishing a permanent presence at the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
