Putin: Russia Decides to Respond Just Like Our Potential Adversary Did

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated during the 7th Eastern Economic Forum that Russia will fulfill its duty to protect the people living in Donbas, which will ultimately strengthen the country's foreign policy positions. This was reported by TASS.

“Russia has decided to respond that way, in a mirror-like manner, as our potential adversary did—with armed means—after multiple attempts to resolve the issue peacefully. We have done this consciously, and all our actions are aimed at assisting the people residing in Donbas. It is our obligation, and we will fulfill it to the end,” emphasized Putin.

The President of Russia stated that this will eventually lead to the strengthening of Russia both internally and in its foreign policy stance.
