Statement from Jalal Harutyunyan's Lawyer

Lawyer Arsen Sardarjan has taken on the defense of Lieutenant General Jalal Harutyunyan's interests. The lawyer expressed regret that the law enforcement agencies have brought charges against Jalal Harutyunyan, a ‘patriotic, skilled, and vigilant commander’, accusing him of negligence in fulfilling his duties.

“Jalal Harutyunyan spared neither effort nor health to defend our homeland, doing what was possible and even what seemed impossible. It is no coincidence that our enemy has targeted him from high command, and it is only through miraculous, serious surgeries that it has been possible to get Jalal Harutyunyan back on his feet. I firmly believe that Jalal Harutyunyan is innocent, and sooner or later this will be recognized; however, the unpleasant feeling that we are even condemning our most honorable heroes will remain…” Sardarjan stated.
