Peskov on Russian Artists
Some Russian artists, including Maxim Galkin, have recently made disparaging statements. Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, discussed this during a conversation with journalists on Sunday, September 4, as reported by TASS.
In response to a question about cultural figures who left Russia after the start of military operations and their potential return, Peskov stated that they are "citizens of Russia." He remarked, "There are artists who have literally tarnished their reputations with utterly impudent and unacceptable statements. This is a separate story, and our paths with them do not obviously go in the same direction. I have not heard any statements from Alla Pugacheva, although I have from her husband. Our paths, of course, are not the same; her husband has made very bad statements," Peskov noted, emphasizing that this does not apply to all artists.
