Podolyak Acknowledges Major Mistake by Ukraine in Early Hours of War
The advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podolyak, has admitted that a significant mistake made by the authorities during the early hours of the military operations was failing to destroy their own infrastructure objects to halt the adversary.
He made this statement in an interview with the publication 'Fakti'.
“In the first few hours, we were thinking: we have invested resources in ensuring people’s well-being; how do we now eliminate that? I consider the sluggishness of that time as our radical mistake,” noted Podolyak.
Additionally, according to the official, they also accounted for the fact that on the other side, there were also people who would carefully deal with houses, bridges, and other infrastructure.
