‘7 Countries Ready to Withdraw Kosovo Recognition’ - Vucic
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has announced that he is keeping seven unofficial diplomatic notes regarding the withdrawal of recognition of the self-proclaimed independence of Kosovo in a fireproof cabinet.
“Currently, there are 7 documents in the fireproof cabinet of mine and the foreign minister’s regarding the withdrawal of recognition. We have been working and have succeeded in increasing the number of such documents from 4 to 7,” Vucic stated, as quoted by TASS agency.
Vucic mentioned that he would publish the documents if Pristina attempts to submit a new application to join international organizations.
Earlier, the U.S. State Department urged Serbia to forget that Kosovo is part of Serbia. In response, Maria Zakharova, a spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated that Russia will never forget this.
