Inspections at 'Petak': Next Up Are Other Trade Points
Following the tragic explosion at the ‘Surmalu’ shopping center, the Inspection Body of Urban Development, Technical and Fire Safety of Armenia is conducting inspections at the nearby ‘Petak’ center. The information was provided to Radar Armenia by the spokesperson for the Inspection Body, Elena Zograbyan, who added that the inspections are still ongoing.
Zograbyan informed that inspectors will also conduct checks at the Malatia market, the Malatia gold market, and at the ‘Arinj’ mall, and subsequently at other major trading points.
“Prior to this incident, the inspectors had already conducted inspections,” she emphasized.
Recall that on August 14, the explosion at the ‘Surmalu’ shopping center resulted in the deaths of 16 individuals, with one citizen reported missing.
