Thank You, Dear Deputy Speaker: Kilic to Rubiniana

In the process of normalizing Armenian-Turkish relations, Turkey's envoy Serdar Kilic has expressed gratitude to Armenia's envoy, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinian, for his "sincere words of condolence."

"Thank you for your sincere and greatly appreciated words of condolence, dear Deputy Speaker. This is very kind of you," the Turkish diplomat wrote on Twitter.

Last weekend, the Deputy Speaker of the Armenian Parliament extended condolences to Serdar Kilic and the Foreign Ministry regarding a major traffic accident in Turkey, where the death toll is nearing fifty.

Just days earlier, the Turkish envoy had also expressed condolences to Ruben Rubinian over the explosion at the Surmalu shopping center in Yerevan, which resulted in at least 16 deaths and left 2 people missing.
