Israel and Turkey Fully Restore Diplomatic Relations
Israel and Turkey leaders have agreed to fully restore diplomatic relations and return ambassadors to the capital cities. This was announced by the office of the Israeli Prime Minister.
According to the statement, “Following a conversation between Prime Minister Yair Lapid and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Israel and Turkey are fully restoring diplomatic relations.”
Additionally, during communications within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was stated that “a decision was made to elevate the level of relations between the two countries to full diplomatic relations and to return the ambassadors and consuls general of both countries.”
