Turkey's Defense Minister Speaks on 44-Day War
“For 30 years, negotiations have taken place regarding Nagorno-Karabakh, but the mediators have achieved nothing,” Turkey's Defense Minister Hulusi Akar stated during his speech at the 13th ambassadors' conference in Ankara.
“As a result, our Azerbaijani brothers initiated military operations and liberated their lands from occupation in 44 days. From the perspective of peace in the South Caucasus, this is an opportunity for Armenia as well,” Akar added.
