Baku Demands Yerevan to Cease 'Provocations': Bayramov
The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has announced that Baku is demanding Yerevan to cease 'provocations' in the region and to fulfill the obligations that, according to the Azerbaijani minister, Armenia assumed under the trilateral statement of November 9.
According to Interfax, Bayramov stated that the primary cause of the escalation of tensions in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, where Russian peacekeepers are deployed, was Armenia's failure to meet its obligations.
He mentioned that by obligations, he means that the Armenian armed forces have not yet left Nagorno-Karabakh. According to Bayramov, Armenia undertook such an obligation in the trilateral statement.
Bayramov emphasized that the Armenian armed forces should have withdrawn when the peacekeeping troops entered the region.
