Two Misinformation Instances in One Day: Armenia Responds to Azerbaijan's Statements
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia has once again refuted the latest statement disseminated by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense.
According to the statement issued by the Armenian Ministry of Defense, on July 30, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense spread misinformation claiming that the Armed Forces of Armenia opened fire from small arms towards Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern and southeastern parts of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
"The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has spread yet another misinformation, announcing that on the midday of July 30, units of the Armed Forces of Armenia opened fire from small arms towards Azerbaijani positions situated in the eastern and southeastern sections of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border," the Armenian Ministry of Defense's statement reads.
The situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border remains relatively stable and is fully under the control of the Armed Forces of Armenia.
Earlier, the Armenian Ministry of Defense stated that the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense disseminated misinformation suggesting that on July 30, units of the Armed Forces of Armenia opened fire from small arms towards the Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
