Progress in Unblocking Transport Communications, Says Russian Foreign Ministry
The trilateral working group at the level of the Deputy Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan, Russia, and Armenia continues its activities regarding the unblocking of transport and economic communications in the South Caucasus and has recorded certain progress, stated Alexey Zaytsev, deputy director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, according to Azerbaijani sources.
He noted that during the group's meeting held in Moscow on June 3, as well as in the framework of interactions among the co-chairs at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, the parties have managed to bring their positions closer on various aspects, including the restoration of transport communications.
