The Ghost of Vendetta Haunts Aparan
The newspaper "Hraparak" writes, "In the days following the bloody incident, enhanced police services have been deployed in Aparan and surrounding communities. Residents say that the ghost of vendetta is roaming the region, as the brazen behavior of the criminals does not let the relatives of the two victims rest.
Yesterday, the head of the Aparan police was dismissed for showing actual inaction, failing to prevent several days of 'razborki' (settling of scores), which tragically culminated on Sunday. However, the main perpetrators remain unpunished. There were reports yesterday that Mathevos Asatryan, a member of parliament from the ruling party, also participated in the incident, but immediately after the incident, the footage from the gas station's cameras was deleted to erase the traces."
