Trolleybus Power Supply Pole Falls in Yerevan, Damaging Mercedes; Doctors Fight for Driver's Life

An extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan today, June 11th. Around 19:40, a trolleybus of route number 15, registration number 017, was traveling on Sebastia street when its power supply pole detached and fell onto the windshield of a Mercedes E-340 vehicle following behind.

According to shamshyan.com, as a result of the pole falling, the driver of the Mercedes suffered abdominal injuries. Emergency medical responders arrived promptly at the scene, provided initial care on-site, and then transported the driver to the 'Astghik' medical center, where an urgent surgery began.

The police are currently investigating the identities of the trolleybus driver and the Mercedes driver who was hospitalized.
