2.2 Million Dram Illegally Cut Walnut Trees Discovered in Syunik Region
Authorities in the Syunik region of Armenia have uncovered an illegal logging operation in the Shikahogh community area, where 22 cubic meters of walnut trees have been cut down. The environmental damage caused by this act has been assessed to exceed 2,200,000 dram.
The case has been referred to the Armenian police for further investigation.
