«Be Alert» - Central Bank of Armenia Issues Statement
The Central Bank of Armenia has issued a statement regarding offers based on fake licenses and fabricated data. In particular, it is noted:
“The Central Bank of Armenia informs that certain individuals acting on behalf of 'Gazprom Armenia' LLC are trying to attract clients in Armenia through a public offer based on a forged license of a specialized participant in the securities market. Given that the mentioned organization is engaged in unlicensed activities and is not under the supervision of the Central Bank, we urge the public to be alert, not to trust, and not to respond to such offers, avoiding establishing any business relationships under the mentioned offer.
To use investment services in Armenia, you can refer to organizations providing investment services that have obtained the relevant license from the Central Bank, the list of which can be found here.
